Unije is the largest of the islands of Lošinj. The northern and eastern part of the island of Unije are steep, rocky and covered with oaks, while the southern and western are plains and forming a bay where you will find the only village of the island.

The highest point of the island of Unije is Kalk (132 m). The remains of a Roman villa and fragments of tiles and bricks testify that Unije was already inhabited in ancient times. On the island there are no cars. The island can be reached by catamaran from Rijeka and Pula and local lines that connect daily to Mali Lošinj. The island is ideal for those who want to live a quiet holiday and offers clean sea and beautiful beaches.
