Krk is dominated by its cathedral and castle Frankopan. The cathedral was built in different styles: Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, up to today. Today, the castle has a square shape and is surrounded by walls where you can find a round tower, a quadrangular courtyard of the family Frankopan, a square tower and an observatory. Krk offers accommodation in hotels, camping but also in private apartments. Krk is known for its restaurants and beaches of sand and gravel.
