Podgora has its own harbor and over the hill you will find the monument "The wings of the seagull" dedicated to the military fleet.

Podgora is an important port and fishing center. Pogora is located near the village of Caklje with the beach and a small harbor of recent construction. Today in Podgora there are several hotels and private apartments mixed with different houses of fishermen. In the gardens of Podgora there are several Mediterranean plants and fruit: oranges, lemons and tangerines. Under the Biokovo there are several olive groves and vineyards. Podgora has a beautiful beach of pebbles and gravel and several restaurants where you can sample local dishes of Dalmatia. In the center of Podgora is the church of All Saints where we celebrate the feast of St. Vincent, on the first Sunday after the feast of Our Lady.
