Pláže
Duga Uvala is a sheltered bay on the east coast of Istria between the larger towns of Labin and Pula. This area of Istria is generally very undeveloped and provides a long stretch of unspoilt coastline. Inland from the coast are delightful rural villages. Local roads and farm tracks lead down to the coast and its many coves and inlets on the peaceful Rasa estuary and the bay of Duga Uvala. In Duga Uvala bay itself there is a Hotel, beachside cafes and pizzeria. The hotel complex includes a wellness centre, massage, aromatherapy amnd fitness centre. There are sport facilities available as well as night clubs and discos. The principal town of the area is Pula but there are shops and restaurants in several of the villages and small towns in this region.
Beach San Polo is a pebbly and rocky beach with a length of 4 kilometers. Beach San Polo is equipped with showers, it is allowed the arrival of the dogs, a part of the beach is adapted for naturists. On the beach there are numerous sports facilities for volleyball, table tennis and kids playground. In the restaurant you can enjoy delicacies and top quality Istrian wine.
Part of the beach is rocky and provide an ideal opportunity to adventurers.
Colone Beach is a pebble and rocky beach length of 5 kilometers. Colone Beach is located on a small peninsula near the camp with the same name Colone camp. Colone offers a beautiful view of the Rovinj islands, while the nearby pine and oak trees provide shelter to those who are looking for shade. On the beach there are showers, allowed the arrival of the dogs, and near there is a beach bar where you can search for refreshment.
Arround Colone beach there are some hidden coves with rocky areas in a remote area.

Hum (Italian: Colmo; German: Cholm) is a town in the central part of Istria, northwest Croatia, 7 km from Roč, 14 km southeast of Buzet on a hill above the Mirna valley. The town is located at 349 m. This small fortified settlement has maintained all the characteristics of medieval urban architecture and organization. It has a population of only 17 people (2001 census), but is officially a town, and is the Guinness World Record holder for the smallest town in the world.

Only 5 kilometers far from Cerovlje, you can enjoy in an untouched nature, a mild climate and hospitality of the numerous family, whose name can be found in the oldest registry book of Gologorica Parish already in 1664.
Slowly but surely Istrian truffles (tartuffi) have been making their name known in the world. Late summer, autumn and early winter are truffle finding time. Both the prized white truffle and the more common black truffle are commonly found in Istria. Restuarant menus offer them both in main and desert courses. You will know it is truffle time as the specially trained dogs go truffle-hunt mad and can be heard in the early hours. Some years ago Carlo Zigante found the world’s largest white truffle (1.3kg) near Buje. It entered the Guinness Book of Records. To promote Istrian Truffles, he cooked a dinner for 100 people using his prize truffle as chief ingredient. As a result attention was drawn to the area and today there are Truffle Events held annually. If you know nothing about truffles there is no better introduction than visting one of the truffle fairs - wine tastings and other local produce available.
