Tar és Vabriga egymás felé terjeszkedő települései ma egynek számítanak, és csak a Pula-Trieszt út választja el őket egymástól. Történelmi szempontból még pontosabb lenne azt mondani, hogy három település alkotja: Tar, Frata és Vabriga, hiszen Frata Tar elővárosa.
