Tar
Today, Tar and Vabriga expanding one towards the other have become one, devided just by the Pula - Trieste road. From a historical point of view it would be more exact to say three settlements: Tar, Frata and Vabriga; Frata being the suburb of Tar. In the past these villages formed three parishes, three church towers, three chur- ches: St. Martin, St. Mihovil, St. Anton.
The ancestors of the Tar and Vabriga inhabitants have chosen the place for their settlement with great success. It is a fertile upland (112 m above sea level), gently inclining towards the sun and sea in the South-West, and at the same time arising towards the Mirna estuary in the North. It is a wonderful lookout: to the North – Novigrad, to the South – Poreč. During clear weather the Alps may be seen, and at the same time the Tar church tower offers a view of St. Marco church tower in Venice, located on the opposite side of the Adriatic. Looking back this is an area where life has been going on in harmony with olive groves and vineyards. Almonds and figs wheat and vegetables played an important role as well. The inhabitants of Tar and Vabriga may often be seen either driving a tractor or sailing a boat as two are their ploug-fields – land and sea. Today they are also engaged in catering and tourism facilities.

Oliva
The Oliva Beach is located on the island of St. Nicholas, just opposite the city of Porec port. The island is covered with autochtonous forest of black oak and pine trees. The beach is a partly pebbly, partly constructed in the shape of a round pool on one side of the break-water and a concrete plateau on the other side of the break- water. Part of the sun bathing area stretches across a grassy surface of a small pine park. The beach can be safely reached via paths which are paved in stone or concrete. The paths lead through a pine-tree park with sport facilities. The beach is located near the Fortuna hotel, but it also serves as a local beach. The beach has sanitary facilities, life-saving and first-aid equipment. The beach participates in local and regional actions on environmental education in cooperation with Eco-schools and tourism board, such as cleaning actions and information about protected species. The beach displays environmental information on several boards, including the one in the camp and on the beach itself.
Baredine
Such shapes have been created, some of which are exceptional, such as the 10 meter long and high curtains, a very realistic sculpture of Our Lady, the body of a milkmaid called Milka, the leaning tower of Pisa and snowman the torchbearer-who has become the trade mark of our cave. In one of the atriums you will pass a crater that is 4m wide and 66 m deep which goes down to the underground lakes. And so through five halls, five galleries of abstract and realistic sculptures, a pleasant 40 minute walk, accompanied by our guide and custodian. The excitement of this adventure is also meeting the animals of the underworld. You will see the human fish an endemic animal that lives only in this environment. At the cave's entrance there is a museum showcase where pottery of prehistoric man has been exhibited. Our far ancestors would probably leave the pots during the hot, dry, summer day to collect the precious water, drop by drop.
